Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What type of CGMs does TwentyDegrees offer?

After purchase, you'll have the option to choose between the two most advanced CGM models in the market (Dexcom G7 or Abbott FreeStyle Libre 3). Both are smaller and more accurate than previous models and stream your glucose data in real time.

Do I need a prescription for a CGM?

In the United States, CGMs require a prescription. If you select the FreeStyle Libre, you’ll fill out a brief questionnaire that we send to an independent physician, who will review your information and confirm your eligibility. If you’re approved, you’ll receive your CGM within 4-7 business days. Members that choose to participate in our groundbreaking research study will have access to the Dexcom G7; participation in the study does not require a prescription.

Can I cancel my subscription?

When you sign up for TwentyDegrees, you agree to be charged annually or monthly, depending on your subscription type, for the duration of the program you selected. After your plan, you'll have the option to continue or cancel at any time.

Can I import other health data into TwentyDegrees?

Yes! You can import your workouts, sleep, heart rate, weight, and step data from Apple Health (iOS) and Google Fit (Android) into the TwentyDegrees app.

Can I share my TwentyDegrees data with my doctor or nutritionist?

Yes. Your data can be viewed by the associated doctor or nutritionists

Does it hurt to apply the CGM?

CGMs measure glucose with a thread-like filament (about as thick as dental floss) that sits under the skin. Most members do not even notice the CGM after it's applied.

Is TwentyDegrees covered by my insurance?

No, TwentyDegrees is not eligible for payment through insurance. If you have any questions, reach out to our team at support@twentydeg.com.
